Born and raised in Oceanside, California, I was first exposed to religion and spirituality through the Rastafarian movement in Jamaica, that began with His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I being crowned King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and Emperor of Ethiopia, on November 2, 1930. Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer marked my Rasta roots with positive vibrations. Rastafari has been my guide from creation through encounters with the Church of God and the United Methodist Church. The journey came full circle when I completed my MDiv in 2018 and entered residency as a clinical chaplain. My theology and spirituality are grounded in the Rasta tradition and affirm the diverse perspectives people have in making meaning of their human experience. I bring a rich skillset to working with people that includes a lifelong passion for athletics and fitness, teaching, coaching, and trauma-informed spiritual care, which allow me to provide compassionate care and support.
